Returns, Exchange & Refund Policy

You can return eligible items within 45 days of receiving an order a refund of the merchandise value. An original order number is required. Made to Order curtain rods, special order items, custom items, or items damaged through normal wear and tear are not eligible for returns, refunds or exchanges.

Review the full list of ineligible items and our refund policy below before starting the process.

Shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. Paso Robles Ironworks does not supply return shipping labels.

Qualified Returns with an original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment.

Final sale items cannot be returned. Prior purchases are not eligible for price adjustments during sales and promotions.

Ways To Return

By Email – Send return request to admin@ironhardware.com for a return authorization and further instructions.

Items non-eligible for returns or exchanges

  • Made to Order Items, including all curtain rods, custom mounting hardware, and custom hinge plates. 
  • Items without an original receipt and order number
  • Items damaged from normal wear and tear
  • Final sale items
  • Finish Samples
  • Shipping Fees – Shipping fees are non-refundable, and prior purchases are not eligible for price adjustments. 

Refund Policy

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Items must be in the original packaging.
  • Our refund and returns policy last 45 days. If 45 days have passed since your order was delivered, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Shipping Fees – Shipping fees are non-refundable, and prior purchases are not eligible for price adjustments. 
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund by email.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer’s address. You must contact admin@ironhardware.com for return instructions.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Hardware with obvious signs of use or missing parts
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within five business days.

Damaged or Missing Products

Any complications, missing products, damaged products must be reported to Paso Robles Ironworks via email at admin@ironhardware.com with 45 days of receiving the order to be eligible for refund, credit or replacement. 

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at admin@ironhardware.com.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Final Sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at admin@ironhardware.com.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Order Change Requests

Order change requests must be made within 24 hours of placing the order for all standard shipping orders including curtain rods, bath and cabinet hardware. To avoid order errors and delays in the production schedule, orders cannot be altered after 24hours. 

Expedited orders are not eligible for cancellation or alterations due to the quick turnaround time.
